On show on the Lumens stand at ISE 2017 is the VC-A70H 4K PTZ camera. This is equipped with a professional 1/2.3-type progressive scan ‘Exmor R’ CMOS sensor with nine-megapixel output resolution that is claimed to deliver a superbly clear and vivid live image. Designed for broadcasting systems, lecture capture, videoconferencing and houses of worship, it features a 12x optical zoom lens with 2x clear image zoom, for a total 24x zoom. Exposure mode is said to deliver a clear image even in low light or the extreme contrast of brightness and darkness of a conference room.
The VC-A70H HD PTZ camera has HDBaseT interfaces, allowing Ultra HD resolution and long-distance transmission up to 70m and carries power, video, and control via a single Cat5e/6 cable. It can simultaneously output both HDMI and HDBaseT images.
Other features include a 74º horizontal field of view; a built-in tally light; and a maximum horizontal/vertical speed of rotation of 300º/s .
Up to 128 user-defined preset modes are available to allow ease of use in any environment. The unit has a horizontal viewing angle of -170° to +170°, a tilting angle up to 90°, and tilting down to -30°.
